Four women including a minor were detained in this attack. Along with this, the constable was also arrested. According to the police, the hotel was raided based on the information of the locals.
This illegal business is going on at Sky Blue Hotel in Kalyanpur area. Four women, including a minor, were detained in the police raid. Police said that the hotel manager used to invite women from outside and conduct business. The arrested minor told the police that she had come here for the first time.

The manager called her to the hotel saying there was some work. Now the police have sent her to Nari Niketan. Apart from this, the police also detained a youth who had come to Kanpur to appear for the police recruitment exam. He said that he was the son of a sub-inspector and was staying here with his girlfriend.
Police also nabbed another youth who said he had booked this hotel through the online OYO app. On reaching here the hotel manager sent a girl to my room. He said that the manager fled from the hotel when the police started investigating the hotel. ACP Abhishek Pandey said that raids were conducted on the hotel based on the complaint of locals. Four women and a minor girl were detained from here during this time. The hotel manager fled from there. Police are searching for the manager.
