A terrible road accident took place between a school bus and a transport bus near Manvi in Raichur district and two children in the school bus died tragically. The accident took place near Kapagal in Manvi taluk of Raichur district. First class student Samarth, seventh class student Srikanth are deceased. Three children inside the school bus had their legs amputated.
A private school bus heading towards Manvi from Kapagal and a transport bus heading towards Raichur from Sindhur collided head-on. Both the children’s legs were severed due to the collision, and they died due to severe bleeding. He was taken to Rimes Hospital for treatment, but the treatment did not work, and he died.
There was a total of 32 children in the school bus. All were injured. The condition of three of these children is critical. Out of these 18 people are being treated at Rims Hospital. The remaining 14 children are undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Raichur.
It is known that the deceased boy and girl belong to Kudi village. SP and DC visited Rims Hospital and conducted inspection. RIM’s hospital front has reached the peak of the parents’ protest. The Sindhanur-Raichur road has been closed due to a terrible accident between two buses. The incident took place in Manvi police station and the police rushed to the spot.
5 lakh compensation to the family of the children who died in the incident and 3 lakh compensation for the treatment of seriously injured children will be given by the transport department. District Collector Nitish said that efforts will be made to provide additional relief from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
