Sri Vijaya Puram has a historical background
Andaman and Nicobar Islands have a unique place in our freedom struggle and history. Shah said the island region, which once served as a naval base for the Chola Empire, is today a critical base for our strategic and developmental aspirations.
“This is the place where Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Ji hosted the first unveiling of our Tiranga. It is also the cellular jail where Veer Savarkar Ji and other freedom fighters fought for an independent nation.” That is what Amit Shah has written in X Post about historical information.
