Stree 2 Box Office Collections
This year, whether it ‘Committee Kurrallu’, ‘Mattu Vadalara 2’ have been a huge hit at the box office. Apart from these, the movie ‘Saripodhaa Sanivaaram’ starring Nani among the medium range heroes created a sensation by raking in a gross of one hundred crore rupees. Just like this, the film ‘Stree 2’, which was made with a medium range budget, rewrote the history of Bollywood. Released on 15th August, the film became a blockbuster hit right from the first run.

This movie, which surpassed the full run collections of the Hindi version of ‘Kalki’ in its first week, has now surpassed the film ‘Animal’, one of the top grossers of Bollywood. Sandeep Vanga and Ranbir Kapoor’s movie ‘Animal’ has collected a net collection of Rs 553 crores at the box office alone in its full run at the box office.

Now ‘Stree 2’ has surpassed ‘Animal’ by a huge margin with a net collection of Rs 583 crores in 30 days. Trade pundits are saying that this film is likely to surpass the collections of Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan and become an all-time industry hit. Shah Rukh Khan-Atlee combination film Jaawan collected 640 crore rupees net at the Indian box office. Stree 2 is likely to beat this film’s record in the next two weeks.
If that happens, ‘Stree 2’ will be a new history making film as the only lady-oriented film to become a number 1 grosser in the history of the Bollywood film industry. Coming to the gross calculations, the film has collected a gross collection of 750 crore rupees at the Indian Box Office so far. Also, the film grossed more than 150 crore rupees overseas. It has to be seen whether this movie, which has grossed 900 crore rupees in total, will get another hundred crore rupees gross in the full run and get 1000 crore rupees or not.
