India is dominating the first Test against Bangladesh at the Chepauk venue. At the tea break on the third day, Bangladesh scored 56 runs without losing a wicket.

Shadman Islam (21 batting) and Zakir Hasan (32 batting) are batting consistently. Bangladesh are 459 runs away from victory and Team India is 10 wickets away.

Earlier, Shubman Gill (119 not out; 176 balls, 10 fours, 4 sixes) and Rishabh Pant (109; 128 balls, 13 fours, 4 sixes) scored centuries. Team India declared the second innings at 287/4. India set a huge target of 515 runs for Bangladesh, including the first innings lead of 227 runs.

Pant and Gill, who started the game with an overnight score of 81/3, played powerfully. Respecting the nice balls, he led the scoreboard forward with boundaries and sixes. Pant scored three figures in 124 balls and Gill scored in 161 balls. However, while batting in today’s game, something done by Pant has gone viral. Pant at the crease sets up the Bangladesh fielding.

Bangladesh fielders looked helpless against Gill-Pant Dhati. With this, Pant filled them with enthusiasm. ‘Hey… One comes this way, the other goes that way. One here, the other at mid-wicket,’ advises the Bangla fielders. It is noteworthy that Bangladesh captain Shanto also listened to Pant and set a fielder at mid-wicket. Meanwhile, India made a huge score of 376 runs in the first innings. Ravichandran Ashwin (113) and Ravindra Jadeja (86) were successful. Hasan Mohammed (5/83) took five wickets. After coming to bat, Bangladesh collapsed for 149 runs thanks to Jasprit Bumrah (4/50), Akashdeep (2/19), Ravindra Jadeja (2/19) and Mohammed Siraj (2/30). Shakib Al Hasan (32) was the top scorer. India got a lead of 227 runs in the first innings.
