Tirupati Laddu Controversy
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu had raised questions on the quality of ingredients used in the prasad laddus of Tirumala Venkateswara Swamy Temple.
After this, there has been an uproar in the whole country. It was alleged that animal fat was mixed in the laddus prepared for Tirupati temple. Now actor Prakash Raj has also expressed concern on this matter and has questioned Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan.
Prakash Raj has posted on Instagram and shared a tweet of Pawan Kalyan and questioned him how this matter happened while he was in government. He wrote- ‘Dear Pawan Kalyan, this has happened in the state where you are a Deputy CM. Please investigate. Find the culprits and take strict action.’
There is a lot of communal tension in our country – Prakash Raj
Prakash Raj further said- ‘Why are you spreading apprehensions and raising this issue at the national level. There is a lot of communal tension in our country (thanks to your friends at the Centre).’ Let us tell you that earlier, Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan had also expressed his concern by posting on the adulterated Prasad case.
Pawan Kalyan had said this
Pawan Kalyan had written in the post- ‘We are all very upset with the results of adulterated animal fat (fish oil, pork fat and beef fat) in Tirupati Balaji Prasad. The TTD board formed by the YCP government will have to answer many questions. Our government is committed to take as strict action as possible. But this highlights many cases related to the insult of temples, its land issues and other religious practices.’
‘To end the insult of Sanatan Dharma…’
The Deputy CM of Andhra Pradesh further wrote- ‘The time has come to form a ‘Sanatan Dharma Rakshan Board’ at the national level to look into all the issues related to temples across India. There should be a debate at the national level among all the policy makers, religious heads, judiciary, citizens, media and everyone in their respective fields. I think we all should come together to end the insult of Sanatan Dharma in any form.’
