A 29-year-old woman’s body cut into pieces has been found in Bengaluru. It was kept in the refrigerator of the house. This was revealed after a foul smell came.
A woman was brutally murdered on Saturday (September 21) in Vyalikaval area of Karnataka’s capital Bengaluru.
Her body was cut into 20 to 40 pieces and kept in the freezer of the house. The deceased has been identified as 29-year-old Mahalakshmi. Mahalakshmi is believed to have been murdered around 15 days ago.
Her phone was switched off since September 2 this year. The case came to light when the victim’s Neighbours complained of a foul smell. The police were called, and the area was cordoned off. The police have recovered human organs which were infested with worms. The police have also taken the help of forensic experts and dog squad in investigating the case.

Talking about the disturbing incident, the police said, “Mahalakshmi’s phone was switched off since September 2. When she could not be contacted, her mother and sister got worried and came home.” He said, “When we opened the door, we saw insects crawling on the floor and the entire floor was sticky with the victim’s blood. This blood was dripping from the refrigerator door.”

The police further said that the woman’s legs were chopped off and placed on top of the refrigerator in the house. At the same time, the rest of the body was kept in the middle shelf. The head was kept under the refrigerator. Anyone who saw or heard this incident was stunned. It is not yet known who carried out this murder.
The current case is reminiscent of the murder of a 27-year-old woman named Shraddha Walker. Aftab Amin Poonawala strangled his live-in-partner Shraddha to death on May 18, 2022, and then cut her body into 35 pieces. Aftab disposed of her body parts at 18 different places in the national capital.
