POLAR BEAR
A polar bear has been found in a village in Iceland for the first time in 8 years, and the police have shot it for fear that it may pose a danger to the locals.
According to reports, near the area where the bear was found, there was a hut where an old woman lived.
When she went to take out the garbage, she found the bear. She immediately ran home, locked the floor and contacted her daughter for help via satellite link.

After getting to know about the matter, the officials reached the spot and tried to move the polar bear from there. But it is not possible. Later, fearing that it would pose a danger to the locals, they finally shot him dead. After this, Westfjords Police Chief Helgi Jensen spoke and expressed regret that the action we took was not something we liked.
Although polar bears are a protected species here, authorities can take lethal action if they pose a threat to humans or livestock.
