Bengaluru chilling murder: Mahalakshmi’s body in 50 pieces in fridge, suitcase… Husband suspects Ashraf

Bengaluru chilling murder

A 29-year-old young woman named Mahalakshmi was brutally murdered in Bangalore, just like Shraddhawalker. This murder became a local sensation.

The carcass was cut into pieces and kept in the fridge, which was creepy. City Police Commissioner B Dayanand said on Monday that the main accused in this murder case has been identified. He said that efforts are being made to arrest him. However, they said that at present they cannot reveal any details to help the accused. The police found that the accused belonged to another state.

However, worse things are coming to light in this murder case. Along with the fridge, it seems that more body parts were found in a blue suitcase next to the fridge in the house where Mahalakshmi was staying. Is the accused intending to move the dead body? Or brought from another area…? It is being investigated in this sense. Police sources revealed that the postmortem has been completed and they are waiting for the report.

Mahalakshmi’s husband Hemant Das was interrogated by the police in this case. However, he suspected that Mahalakshmi’s lover would play a role in the murder. He said his wife had an affair with another man. He stated that her lover may have been involved in the murder. Ashraf from Uttarakhand may have been behind the murder and a complaint was filed against him at the Bangalore local police station a few months ago. He said that after the complaint he was ordered not to come to Bangalore, but he did not know where he had gone. Hemant Das got married to Mahalakshmi 6 years ago. They also have a daughter. However, the two have been living separately for nine months due to family quarrels. “Ashraf is from Uttarakhand. We complained about the extramarital affair. It’s not a doubt, I know. Ashraf works in a barber shop. I came to know about this in April or May 2023. Mahalakshmi did not tell me anything about Ashraf, I am not in touch with her…,” he said.

On September 22, the Karnataka police recovered the body of Mahalakshmi (29) in a flat room in Bangalore’s Vialical area. The owner of the house informed Mahalakshmi’s mother and sister as the bad smell was coming from the room. The three broke the door and saw her broken body. Home Minister Parameshwara told reporters on Monday that all those involved in this case will be arrested.
