Hanamkonda
Rangayyapalli village of Bhimadevarapalli mandal of Hanamkonda district was struck by thunder on Monday midnight. A whole house got burnt due to lightning. There was no one at home at that time and a big accident was averted.
But the victim’s family members are complaining that the property has been damaged to the tune of Rs.50 lakh.
According to the locals, the details are as follows. Heavy rains lashed the joint Warangal district since Monday night… In Rangayapalli village of Bhimadevarapalli mandal of Hanumakonda district, lightning struck the house of Errabojju Radhika. Suddenly there was a loud thunderbolt and the equipment in the house caught fire.
Missed accident…
Radhika’s husband died less than five years ago. She lives in the same house with her son. Radhika’s son Arun Kumar runs a business related to CCTV cameras. In this order, recently he brought 45 cc cameras worth Rs.13 lakh and put them in his house for an order. He went to Nellore two days ago for personal work. Radhika went to Manchiryala district for her close relative’s Dasha Dina Karma. Both of them went to other villages
In this accident, CC cameras, xerox machines, along with Rs.3 lakh in cash and gold ornaments up to five talas were burnt. The house was also damaged, and all the walls were blue. The victim’s family members said that due to lightning, the property was damaged to the tune of Rs.50 lakh. The victims are begging the government to support their family saying that they have suffered a lot due to the unexpected incident. As the entire house was burnt, the victim’s lamentation made the villagers cry.
Old man died due to lightning.
An old man named Durgam Lakshmaiah (65) from Bathulapalli village of Kothaguda mandal of Mahabubabad district, went to guard the maize crop on the outskirts of the village on Monday night. During this process he was struck by lightning and lost his life on the side of the road. Due to this, there was a great tragedy in Bathulapalli village.
