IIFA 2024 Winners List
The main event of IIFA 2024 took place on the night of 28 September at Yas Island in Abu Dhabi. From where dance videos and glimpses of Shahrukh Khan’s hosting are going viral on social media. Meanwhile, the complete list of winners of IIFA 2024 has come out, in which King Khan has won the title of Best Actor.
While Rani Mukerji has won the Best Actress title leaving behind the young actresses. Apart from this, the names of Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor are also included in the list.
Shahrukh Khan got the Best Actor award for Jawaan, which was given to him by filmmakers Mani Ratnam and AR Rahman. King Khan was seen touching the feet of the veteran filmmaker and hugging the singer.
Rani Mukerji received the Best Actress award for Mrs. Chatterjee Vs Norway, while accepting the award the actress said, “Receiving this award at IIFA feels even more special because it validates the fact that Mrs. Chatterjee VS Norway has impacted people’s hearts on a global level. The success of Mrs Chatterjee VS Norway reaffirms the eternal power of storytelling and the universal language of maternal love and human resilience. The story of this Indian immigrant mother moved me deeply. A mother’s love for a child is unconditional, something I thought was a myth until I had my own child.”
Anil Kapoor was chosen for Best Supporting Actor Male, which he got for Animal. Shabana Azmi got Best Supporting Actress Female award for Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. Bobby Deol got Best Performance Negative Role award for Animal.
Talking about other winners, Animal (Bhushan Kumar, Krishna Kumar, Pranay Reddy Wanga) was chosen for Best Picture. Vidhu Vinod Chopra was given Best Director award for 12th Fail. Pritam, Vishal Mishra, Manan Bhardwaj, Shreyas Purnaik, Jaani, Bhupinder Babbal, Ashim Khemson, Harshvardhan Rameshwar got Best Music Direction award for Animal.
Bhupinder Babbal, singer of Animal’s Arjan Vaali song, was given Best Playback Singer Male award, Shilpa Rao was chosen for Best Playback Singer Female, who sang Jawaan’s song Chaleya.
In the list of special awards, Hema Malini was given Outstanding Achievement in Indian Cinema award. Rocky and Rani’s love story won the Best Story award. Siddharth Singh and Garima Valal won the Best Lyrics award for Animal’s Satranga.
