Swag Movie Review: Swag Review..a surprise package for those who thought it was a comedy movie

Swag Movie Review

Among the movies released this week, Swag is the most crazed movie. Shree Vishnu has been hitting a series of hits in the past with the director of Rajaraja Chora making this movie called Swag and the audience is interested in how the movie will be.

In addition to this, as the war between matriarchy and patriarchy was being promoted, everyone was eagerly waiting to see how the movie would turn out. In the process of waiting, this movie has finally come before the audience. Let’s know how much this movie impressed the audience.

Story:

Diwakar Peta is left alone when his wife Revathi (Meera Jasmin) leaves Essie Bhavabhuti (Sri Vishnu). At the time of retirement, a letter comes saying that he belongs to Swaganika clan and that his inheritance is safe somewhere. On the other hand, if Singha (Sri Vishnu), a social media influencer, wants to marry the girl he loves (Daksha Nagarkar), the question arises as to who her father is.

However, he too gets a letter about the Swag clan and inheritance. But to get that wealth there must be a plate with the mark of that clan. But exceptionally it is close to the feeling of hating men (Ritu Varma). On the other hand, the clan guarding the wealth is looking to seize the wealth if its illustrious successor does not come. What happened in this sequence? Who actually wrote letters to Bhavabhuti and Singa? In the end, who got the family wealth? To know such things, you have to watch the movie.

Analysis:

In terms of the story, it always started in 1500 and now it is shown to end in 2024. How matriarchy once flourished in society. Later, while showing silly things like how it became a patriarchy, the director showed how much trouble they had for that matter at that time. It is also interesting to see how the later generations were unable to enjoy the royal money.

In a sense this is not a new story. In the past, many stories woven around a treasure like this were turned into movies and became superhits. But here it has added a bit of comedy along with a social message. In fact, screenplay is the strength of any movie. Even in the case of this movie, it seems that the screenplay is not understood by many people. But for those who understand, the screenplay seems to be badly written.

The entire first part of the film was directed to create a bit of comedy with the stories of Bhavabhuti and Singha and then cut it by giving a twist to the interval. And in the second half, it is good to open the story of Yayati, the beginning of Swag and show the story of Bhavabhuti Raju and reveal the twists from the pre-climax, when everyone comes for wealth, it is good to run a good emotion. But you can get bored in the second half. But writing a screenplay with so many stories and telling it in a way that the audience can understand is really a difficult task, the director must be appreciated for this. But as it is promoted as a full-fledged comedy movie in the promotions, the audience is prepared for it. But the emotional content is a surprise package.

When it comes to the actors, it can be said that Sree Vishnu has carried this film on his shoulders. The five characters wore 6 to 7 different getups and entertained by showing each variation. We can see Sri Vishnu who we have not seen till now after this movie. It can be said that Sri Vishnu took another step with his performance in a character that cannot be revealed. It doesn’t matter as long as Ritu Varma is there. But Mirajasmin got a better role than her. The combination scenes of Goparaju Ramana Ravi Babu Kadambari Kiran are amazing. Not if Sunil is a character with a larger scope.

When it comes to technical aspects, the screenplay and music are a plus for the movie. The background music given by Vivek Sagar is amazing. BGM elevates the movie at many places. It is interesting to design songs for three periods according to any period. The work of the camera department was seen in bringing the visuals to perfection.

The art department also put a lot of effort into setting up the period of kings, setting up wealth, setting up family trees, which is seen in many frames. The makeup department should also be appreciated. The variation of Sri Vishnu in all his roles has been shown perfectly. In this film, Hasit scored more as a writer than as a director. Even as a director, he tried to entertain the audience to the fullest. Talking about the production values, TG Vishwaprasad’s People Media Factory Grandier was seen in its entirety.
