Chittoor district police have solved the sensational Punganur girl murder case in AP. SP Manikantha said that he killed the six-year-old girl out of anger to repay the debt.
Asfiya’s father gave a loan of Rs 3.60 lakh to a woman. When she did not return the money, he abused her. The police found that the woman killed Asfiya along with her mother out of anger. Three days ago, Asfiya was returning from tuition…the woman took her to her mother’s house. The girl was given food there… and then both of them strangled the girl to death. Later, the girl’s dead body was dumped in the summer storage tank. The police registered a case on the complaint of the girl’s father that the whereabouts of the girl was missing…they solved the case within three days.

Police have solved the murder case of a six-year-old girl in Punganur. Home Minister Anita Vangalapudi made a statement to this effect. The Home Minister said that 12 special police teams were dispatched to find the missing girl after receiving the complaint. They felt that it was very painful for a child to be killed. Police have already arrested three people in this case. He expressed anger that YCP is politicizing the girl’s murder case.

The postmortem report revealed that the girl was not raped and there was no small injury on her buttocks. The Home Minister said that CM Chandrababu had spoken to Asfiya’s family members over the phone.

CM Chandrababu assured the family of the child who died in Punganur. The child’s father was consulted on the phone. The details were inquired from Azmatullah. The CM assured that steps will be taken to punish the culprits severely.
Minister Ramprasad Reddy said that the death of a six-year-old girl is very sad. He said that the government will stand by the victim’s family. We have all come to reassure the victims. The minister said that the perpetrators of this atrocity will be punished severely. He criticized the YCP leaders for using the child’s murder politically. They said that they are spreading false propaganda that the girl was raped.
