If we look at the collections in the rest of the regions, in Tamil Nadu, the film has grossed Rs 32 crores for two days. In places like Chennai, gross collections are higher on the third day than on the first two days.
Kollywood trade pundits say that Superstar Rajinikanth’s latest film ‘Vettiyan’ will surely surpass the closing collection of Rs 70 crore gross collection in four days. In the same way, this movie, which has grossed 20 crore rupees for two days in overseas, has collected 3 crore 65 lakh rupees in Karnataka, 95 crore rupees in Kerala and 90 lakh rupees in Rest of India. Overall, the Telugu and Tamil versions of the movie have grossed Rs 66 crores and shared Rs 32 crores worldwide. Another 34 crore rupees share has to be raised to reach the break even mark. Trade pundits say that this weekend itself will cross the break even mark and come into profit. After seeing the response of the Telugu version, the makers are thinking of dubbing and releasing the film in Hindi soon.
