Bastar The Naxal Story Review: Bastar the Naxal Story Movie Review… How is Adah Sharma’s new movie…

Bastar The Naxal Story Review: Story:

The movie ‘Bastar: The Naxal Story’ is based on the incident in 2010 in Sukma of Chhattisgarh state in which 76 CRPF jawans were killed in a Naxalite attack. The story of this movie is set in the Naxalite-dominated Bastar region. In this movie, the makers have shown that the Naxalites terrorized the area and killed the security forces and officials. The government deploys IPS Neeraja Madhavan (Adah Sharma) to stop the Naxalites in the area. On the other hand, lawyer Neelam Nagpal (Shilpa Shukla) argues in the court that Neeraja faked encounters. On the other hand, Naxalites are doing their activities vigorously. And the Naxalites have been stopped by IPS Neeraja? What happened next? That is the rest of the story.

Analysis

The makers of the film have shown the complex history of Naxalites in a single way rather than different angles. This movie has been directed according to the written story. It seems that no attempt has been made to show the Naxalites from various angles. Naxalites were portrayed as anti-national and obstacles to development. There are also scenes where some professors, activists, university students and students were attacked by Naxalites. However, the makers have also strongly highlighted the need to prevent Naxalism. There seems to be no reduction in this regard. They showed what they wanted to say as hard hitting.

IPS Neeraja Madhavan will appear with the mission to end Naxalism. However, her character all goes in the same direction. Not so relatable after a while. The makers have shown Naxalites killing a man while singing the national anthem. The victim’s wife joins the police, and the son becomes a Naxalite. An attempt was made to arouse interest in the story. However, for a while the narrative seems to be moving in a monotonous manner. However, the majority is gripping. Overall, the chances of Bastar’s movie becoming controversial are high.

How are the actors…

Adah Sharma once again impressed in acting in this film. However, due to lack of training, there are some deficiencies in shooting and fitness. However, he showed intensity in acting. Indira Tiwari and Naman Jain who played mother and son did justice to their roles. Naman Jaina, Yashpal Sharma and Raima Sen have acted to their full potential.

Violence

There are many violent scenes in this movie. In many places there may be a need to close the eyes. To watch some scenes, you have to harden your heart.

Overall… ‘Bastar: The Naxal Story’ tells the story of the need to stop Naxalites. However, the makers have not elaborated on many aspects of the Naxalites. Showed in the same way. However, the sacrifices of the security forces are well highlighted in the film. There is also an element of patriotism. In some places this film is engaging.
