Lineman Review in Telugu: Lineman Movie Review & Rating!

Lineman Review in Telugu:

‘Lineman’ is one of the dozen short films that came before the audience this week. Adit Arun alias Trigun is the hero in this film. In rural areas there are more power cuts.

If the line is cut anywhere by mistake… the most affected is the ‘line man’…! But this ‘line man’ is different. This movie is based on a true incident in Kerala. Let’s see how much this movie impressed the audience:

Story: A man working as a lineman in the electricity department in Satthupalli village of Khammam district dies suddenly. So, the job goes to his son, who is Nataraju alias Nattu (Trigun). And wherever the electricity goes out in that village. In the same village, Devadamma (B. Jayashree) has a purudu post for many pregnant women. All the villagers consider her as a goddess.

She is 99 years old… As she is approaching 100 years old… the people of that town feel as if they should celebrate her 100th birthday in a grand way. All arrangements will be made for that. But at exactly the same time, Nuttu turns around saying that he will not supply electricity for that ceremony. Why is he so confused? What is his anger towards Godmother? What happened to his love story in between? That is the rest of the story.

Actors Performance: Trigun… very good actor. His choice of characters… his choice of stories is impressive. But why is he not getting a proper break. Even in this ‘Line Man’, his performance is decent. Those who have seen the movie get the feeling that he has been set for this role as well. Kajal Kunder looks good. But she did not get much acting scope. Most senior actress Jayashree will be seen. It can be said that she has done full justice to the role.

And Harini Srikanth seems okay. It can be said that the rest of the actors have done justice to their roles. First half seems passable. But the second half was dull. If the director had handled the second half well… surely the response would have been different.

Technician Performance: The story but the point chosen by the director is good. Most people don’t remember that the house is dark without a line man. Through this film, the director has tried to inform people about their hardships. But he failed to drive the story interestingly for 2 hours on a single point. Although there is a possibility to touch on some sensitive topics and correct the commercial sentiments… why did he not go for them.

This is a concept that can reach everyone if it is made into a half-hour short film. Cinematography, music and editing are all just okay. The producers seem to have spent well to suit the story. Some of the visuals are good.

Analysis: As mentioned above, if the second half had been designed well, the level of the ‘line man’ would have been different. Now it will remain like a plain movie.
