Dhootha 2 OTT Release:
Akkineni’s successor actor, Yuva Samrat Naga Chaitanya’s foray into OTT is web series Dhootha. Dhootha series, which is a supernatural thriller, has received an overwhelming response in OTT.
Naga Chaitanya scored a solid hit with his first OTT entry. Dhootha has been made gripping throughout with thrilling scenes like investigative in the supernatural thriller genre. The series became a blockbuster hit.
Dhootha web series is directed by popular director Vikram K Kumar. It is known that he has directed Ishaq, 13B and Surya 24 along with Manam, 24, Thank you with Naga Chaitanya. After the huge disaster like Thank you movie, this series which came in Naga Chaitanya-Vikram K Kumar combination became a good hit and brought name to both. However, OTT lovers and Telugu audience wanted a sequel to this series.
But there is no announcement on Dhootha 2. It is known that recently OTT company Amazon Prime Video organized an event called “R U Ready”. The event also announced future movies, series and next seasons of super hit web series. But Naga Chaitanya’s fans were left disappointed as there was no mention of the most watched Telugu web series Dhootha Season 2 in the list.
However, Akkineni’s fans were very excited with Naga Chaitanya’s tweet. Naga Chaitanya shared a smiley emoji in his tweet, writing, “Dhootha success event went very well. It was very satisfying. Looking forward to more… soon.” With that, many fans and netizens believe that there will be Dhootha 2 season as a sequel to Dhootha and it will soon be released on OTT.

It is said that Naga Chaitanya has confirmed the sequel to the fans who have been waiting so much for Dhootha 2. However, an official announcement is yet to come from the team or director Vikram K Kumar on Dhootha 2 series. So far there seems to be some ambiguity about Dhootha 2. Meanwhile, Dhootha web series has been streaming on Amazon Prime OTT since December 1 last year. It was released in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Hindi and Malayalam languages.
Dhootha web series which is streaming in different languages has got overwhelming response from the first day of streaming. This series with 8 episodes with a length of about 40 minutes has been praised for impressing with suspense at every moment. Dhootha series is simultaneously streaming in 240 countries with subtitles in 38 languages. It got a good response there too.
