Phone Tapping Case in Telangana: Retied DCP Radhakishan Rao (Radhakishan Rao), who is under judicial remand as accused A4 in the Phone Trapping Case that created a sensation in the state, was moved to Karimnagar amid tight security.
The Nampally court granted conditional permission to see Radhakishan’s mother Sarojini Devi (98), who is suffering from Parkinson’s disease. With the permission of the court, he was brought from Chanchal Guda Jail to his mother who is undergoing treatment at Sagar Rao Hospital in Karimnagar amid heavy security. Radhakishan Rao, who visited the mother with the permission of the court from 11AM to 3PM, inquired about the well-being of the family members. Radhakishan, who was emotional seeing his mother in the case of his sister, was consoled by family members. Radhakishan, who was in the hospital for about four hours, was taken to the jail again amid tight security.

Radhakishan Rao, who served as OND until recently, had an official circle of protection around him. Radhakishan Rao, who retired about three and a half years ago, was appointed as a special officer and given an extension by the government. As the period ended last year, the state government issued orders giving extension again. Radhakishan Rao was removed from his duties after complaints were revealed to the ECI in the wake of the assembly elections. But Radhakishan Rao resigned from his duties as soon as the election results came out.

Till the last assembly elections, he was in the protection circle officially arranged for him. But after the election, the state government was investigating the phone tapping case, and he became an accused. Several police officers were arrested in the investigation of the case of phone tapping before the elections and former DCP Radha Kishan Rao was one of them. But the twist in this is that till six months ago he was protected as a police officer, but now he had to be protected as an accused. It is interesting to discuss how much has changed in six months.
