Patna Fire Incident Today: A terrible accident took place in Patna in the state of Bihar. A huge fire broke out in a hotel on Thursday. It seems that six people were injured in this incident.

The incident took place at Golander under Kotwali police station in Patna. Among the dead are three men and three women. Locals say that the fire broke out due to the explosion of gas cylinder. He said that after the cylinder exploded, the fire spread to the whole building within seconds. Immediately after receiving the information, the police and fireman reached the spot. Firefighters brought the fire under control with fire extinguishers. Many were injured and were shifted to PMCH in Patna for treatment. The condition of seven of them is reported to be critical.

Senior Superintendent of Police Rajeev Mishra said that more than people were rescued from the hotel. Deputy Inspector General (Fire Service) Mrityunjay Kumar Chaudhary said that the information about the accident was received around 11AM, and they reached the spot and brought the fire under control. Due to this incident, there was a lot of confusion in the whole area. Due to the fire, thick smoke engulfed the area.

Locals say that many people come to eat at this hotel as this hotel is near Patna railway station. Home Guars and Fire Services DG Shobha Ohatkar, who reached the spot, told reporters that more than 16000 hotels have been fire audited. Audit is still going on in many hotels. He said that some of the instructions were not followed during their inspections. It is stated that noticed have been given to them. Looking at this accident, it seems that the fire started due to cylinder explosion, he said.
