Theaters Ads Time: Demand for OTT platforms has increased post-Covid. Audiences who were used to watching movies in theaters turned towards OTTs.

Even after the end of the Covid crisis, the number of people coming to theaters and watching movies has not increased. One the other hand, the gap between theater and OTT release date has also become a setback for theaters. Now star heroes’ movies are also coming in OTT within a month. As a result, the revenue of the theaters dropped a lot.

But it has been found that the footfall of PVR Inox and Multiplexes has dropped significantly in the last few years. Ads screening time has been reduced from 35 minutes to ten minutes to increase foot pal numbers. It is learned that the new rule is going to be implemented in all PVR Inox theaters in metropolitan cities.

It is reported that the management of PVR thinks that by reducing the time of ads, the footfall of the theaters will not only increase but also the screening of the extra show will be possible.

It is reported that PVR Inox is planning to make ad-free movie screening available especially as in OTT. It is said that to watch a movie without ads, the audience will have to pay some additional amount in addition to the ticket charges. It is reported that an official announcement will be made soon on the charges related to ads free screening.
