Openers Prabhusimran Singh and Johnny Bairstow gave Punjab kings a huge start with a huge target of 262 runs. Both played aggressively from the start and ran up the scoreboard. Prabhusimran Singh, who broke out with destructive batting, completed his half century in 18 balls.

Rilee Rossouw (26off 16 fours, 2 sixes) was caught out by Pavilion. That ended the partnership of 81 runs recorded for the second wicket. With the help of Shashank Singh who came to the crease, Johnny Bairstow completed his century in 23 balls. With that, 9 runs were lost in 12 balls for Punjab’s victory. Shashank Singh completes the winning six in the 19th over bowled by Ramandeep Singh.
