Bomb Threats Row:
In the last few days, bomb threats have been received by schools in different states of the country. Seven schools in Delhi-NCR, Jaipur and then Kanpur have been threatened with bomb blasts. Utter Pradesh Police has termed it a rumour and said that it is being investigated.
There were threats of bomb blasts on Gul Mohan Vihar Public School of Hanumant Vihar, KDMA School of Gujarat, Sanatan Dharma Education Centre of Kaushal Puri, Chintal School of Singhpur Kachhar, Virendra Saroop School of Civil Lines, Cantt and Kendriya Vidyalaya of Armapur. Dur to the continuous threats, the question that is coming to everyone’s mind is why such threatening mails are suddenly coming during the time of elections. Regarding this, former RAW officer RSN Singh has given a big statement.
‘Attempt to divert attention’
Regarding this, the former RAW officer said “We are seeing that from Nigeria to Pakistan there is a Jihadi ideology that targets children and schools. We should not forget how the Army Public School in Peshawar, Pakistan was targeted. Similarly, schools were also targeted in Afghanistan. Terrorist organizations divert people’s attention by giving such threats. They also do this to trouble the security agencies.
‘Many parties will get political mileage’
He further said, if we consider this as a rumour, then this can be done in reality during this rumour. Many parties in the country will get political mileage from this. Especially during the elections, the opposition people will say that APP had received many warnings. It also had a lot of time to take action. Even after this, a mistake has been made, but we still need to be alert.
