A Fatal Road accident took place at Samrala near Ludhiana in Punjab. a tourist bus full of devotees collided with a truck parked on the highway in Chahela village here in the morning. Two female devotees in the bus died on the spot due to the collision, while more than 15 people were injured and are currently undergoing treatment in the hospital. As soon as the police to know about the matter, they reached the spot. The injured were immediately rushed to the nearest hospital. The deceased have been identified as Meenakshi (51) and Sarojbala (54) from Indore in Madhya Pradesh.

Rishabh, who lives in Indore, said, “we are Indore locals and all the people who are going to Kedarnath by bus belong to a farmer’s family.” All the people are going to visit Kedarnath in Chardham. We were leaving Haridwar for Amritsar when the accident happened. Immediately after the accident, there was a commotion.

Lakhs of devotees from all over the country visit chardham Yatra every year. A large number of devotees are coming to Uttarakhand Chardham Yatra this time as well. In the last 10 days, more than seven lakh devotees visit the four Kshetras. But this time the efforts of the government and the authorities are not working. Many devotees who have come on pilgrimage are returning home without visiting God. The administration has also started the provisional registration process for Chardham pilgrimage. But so far nearly four thousand devotees have returned home from Rishikesh. Returning pilgrims said that it was unfortunate that they could not visit the shrine even after reaching Uttarakhand.
