Tata Group’s airline company Air India is going to increase the salary of its employees. Not only this, the employees of the company will also be given bonuses based on their performance. This decision to increase the rate will be effective from April 1, 2024.

Salary will increase by this much
According to PTI, Air India will increase the salary of Senior Commander, First Officers from Rs.5000 to Rs.15000 every month. Air India CHRO Ravindra Kumar GP has given this information that the increase in salary will be considered effective from April 1, 2024. Along with this, the airline will also give performance bonus for the financial year 2023-2024 on the basis of company and personal performance. Bonus will be given on the basis of evaluation
He said that Air India is in the process of reviving itself in the next five years, in view of which it is giving competitive salary hike to attract talent keeping in view the interests of the employees. Let us tell you that Air India has started evaluation for all the employees who have joined the company before 31 December 2023, apart from ground staff, cabin crew and pilots.
Annual performance bonus will be given through a separate process. Junior first officers who complete rating 3 will get Rs. 42,000. At the same time, first officers or captains with rating will get Rs.60,000 and while the commander will get a bonus of Rs.1.32 lakh on completing 3 ratings and senior commander will get a bonus of Rs.1.8 lakh on achieving rating 3.
Let us tell you that Air India has also informed that the pilots who took command upgrade and conversion training from April 2023 to March 2024 and whose training was delayed due to justifiable organizational reasons. They will be given additional compensation for the time spent in training beyond the guaranteed 40 hours of flying. These pilots will be informed individually, and the payout will be made along with the flying allowance of June.
