A terrible fire has taken place at Baby Care Hospital in Delhi. Six newborn babies (children) died in this incident which took place on Saturday midnight.

Six more children are being treated.

The fire broke out at the Newborn Baby Care Hospital in East Delhi’s Vivek Vihar. One of the injured children is on ventilator, medical services are being provided to five others.

On receiving the information, Delhi fire Services (DFS) teams rushed to the spot. Nine fire tenders brought the fire under control. Fire fighters worked for more than an hour. Two building were completely damaged in this accident.

The police said that the children were rescued from the upper floor of the building. It is said that the fire broke out on the third floor. After that, it was revealed that the entire building was engulfed in flames.

The injured children were shifted to East Delhi Advance NICU Hospital. They are getting medical service here.

Fire officer Rajesh told ANI, “At 11:32 pm, the fire service control room was informed that a fire had broken out in the hospital. Fire tenders immediately reached the spot and doused the fire completely. 2 buildings were gutted in the fire. One was the hospital building… and the residentials building on the right side. We rescued 11-12 children who were caught in the fire, ” he said.
