This is the story of Gangs of Godavari
Ratnakar alias Lankala Ratna (Vishwaksen) loses his parents at an early ago. Ratna, who survives by stealing, joins the gang of MLA Doraswamyraju with his intelligence and courage. As a result of the subsequent developments, Ratna contests the election against Doraswamyraj (Goparaju Ramana). He wins as MLA with the help of Nanji (Nasser).
Ratna’s life took a turn after being elected as an MLA. He is a common thief…how did he become Tiger Ratna? What crime did Ratna do and went to jail?
