So far, more than 20 lakh pilgrims have visited the four Dham’s in the Char Dham Yatra which started on May 10 in Uttarakhand. Every day more than 50 thousand pilgrims are visiting the four Dham’s. The state government has now removed the limit on offline registration. Now as many pilgrims as want can go for the Chardham Yatra.

Let us tell you that the Uttarakhand government has ended the registration limit for the Chardham Yatra. The backlog of offline registration of devotees in Rishikesh and Haridwar for the Chardham Yatra has been completed. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has given instructions to coordinate with the District Magistrates to further improve the travel arrangements. It is worth noting that with the start of this Chardham Yatra, there has been a lot of enthusiasm among the pilgrims about the Chardham Yatra.

The number of pilgrims can reach more than 75 lakhs

So far more than 20 lakh pilgrims have visited all the four Dham’s. While the number of those who have registered has crossed 40 lakhs. This time it is being estimated that more than 75 lakh pilgrims will visit the four Dham’s. Which is going to be a big record in itself. Last year 56 lakh pilgrims did the Chardham Yatra. The way there is enthusiasm among the pilgrims about the Chardham Yatra, it is being estimated that all the old records are going to be broken.

So far 114 pilgrims have lost their lives during the Char Dham Yatra. 57 pilgrims have died in Kedarnath Dham, 26 in Badrinath, 8 in Gangotri and 23 in Yamunotri Dham. The number of deaths of pilgrims is not stopping here. Most of the pilgrims who died in the Char Dham Yatra are above 50 years of age, most of them were already suffering from some disease or the other. Most of the pilgrims are said to have died due to heart attack. The health department is continuously screening the pilgrims coming here.
