Sadly, the British pair lost in straight sets (7-6,6-4), dashing Murray’s ambitions of progressing further in the competition. 37-year-old Andy Murray got emotional after the loss and hugged his brother. The crowd gave Andy a standing ovation and kept cheering him throughout the match. The packed Centre Court also gave a warm farewell to the beloved Andy Murray as he walked back to the locker room. Andy Murray has a chance to win the mixed doubles title at the Wimbledon 2024 mixed doubles event by teaming up with another British sensation Emma Raducanu.
