Many parts of Vijayawada were inundated due to heavy rains and flooding of the Budameru river. But recently, the publicity that Budameru has suffered again and has been cut has made the people of Vijayawada panic. Some are saying that they have done this campaign by riding bikes. WhatsApp messages saying that there has been a fire at Jakkampudi Colony have gone viral. Residents of Ajitsingh Nagar and Payakapuram were especially worried about this.

In this order, the police and high officials were alerted. The Nuna police said that there is no truth in the campaign that Budameru has fallen victim. In this order, they toured the respective colonies and made a statement on the mic that they should not believe the rumors that Budamera had fallen ill.

State Municipal Minister Ponguru Narayana also responded to this campaign. Vijayawada Municipal Corporation Commissioner Dhyan Chandra and ENC Gopala Krishna Reddy spoke on phone and got the information. Kandrika along with Collector Srijana reviewed the situation in Uda Colony. Minister Narayana and Collector Srijana have come to the conclusion that only a few hooligans have created rumors.

On the other hand, NTR District Collector Srujana responded to the rumors that Budameru is flooded again. He made it clear not to believe the rumors that Budameru has fallen ill. She said that Budameru did not receive any flood water.

However, it has been 15 days since the floods in Vijayawada, and in one or two areas, the flood water is still standing in the middle of the houses. With this, arrangements were made for pumping with motors on one side…on the other side, the roads were dug up and the water sent out. On the other hand, the officials and ministers said that the process of enumeration in flood areas is going on fast. The government says it will provide compensation to the victims once the damage assessment is complete.
