The movie ‘Devara’ started breaking records before its release. ‘Devara’ is soaring in the overseas advance bookings which started in the beginning of September. ‘Devara’ collected more than two million in North America (USA, Canada) four days before. It is remarkable that only the premieres are up to 1.82 million dollars.

Analysts predict that ‘Devara’ will break the premiere records of Pan India films like ‘Baahubali 2’ and ‘Salar’ with just advance bookings. Let’s see if it will go near the numbers of ‘RRR’ and ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ with the momentum of the release trailer. The record of highest premieres in Tollywood is currently held by ‘Kalki 2898 AD’. In North America, ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ collected $3.9 million through premieres. RRR, which is in second place, collected 3.46 million dollars.
Special permissions in AP
In Andhra Pradesh, we have also received special permissions for increasing the ticket prices of ‘Devara’ and special shows. The Andhra Pradesh government has also given the official notification for this. The government of Andhra Pradesh as a whole has given permission to put on shows from 12 midnight on 27th. Necessary permissions were obtained to play six games on the first day and five games from the second day to the tenth day. The only thing pending is that the movie gets good talk.
What will be the ticket prices?
The government has given permission to increase the rates up to Rs.130 above the existing rates for multiplexes in AP. These increased prices will be available for two weeks. It means that the ‘Devara’ multiplex ticket rate in AP will be up to Rs.312. In single screens, ticket rates can be increased up to Rs.110 in higher classes and Rs.60 in lower classes.
