When it comes to the story… Bittu who lives with his mother in Pune grows up to be shy and fearful. One day he goes to his native village Konkan for the marriage ceremony of his relatives. On one occasion, Bittu came to know about the death of his father and a tree in his land, and when he went there, a huge tree possessed by a Brahma demon called Munjya trapped Bittu. Just then Bittu Nananma comes and saves. But Munjya comes back with Bittu and kills the grandmother and then goes along with Bittu and harasses her.

Munjya gives a warning that one day she will find a young woman named Munni and if you don’t tell her, she will kill your mother too. With this, Bittu starts searching for Munni.
