The 71st Miss World pageant was held at the Jio World Convention Center in Mumbai. The winner was Christina Piskova from the Czech Republic.
Received the crown of the universe. The runner-up was Ajay town from Lebanon. After 25 years, Miss World pageants were held in India. In the 71st Miss World pageant, beauty queens from 112 countries competed. This time, India, who stood in the Miss World competition with huge expectations, finally faced disappointment. Sine Shetty, who competed for India, stood 8th.
The sisters who have placed in the top-4 positions in the Miss World competition are Kristina Piskova (Czech Republic), Yasin Ajay Town (Lebanon), Ache Abrahams (Trinidad and Tobago), Lesago Chombo (Botswana). There was excitement in these competitions till the end. But Christina and Ajay town went to the top 2. Among them, Christina was the lucky one. Mist World 2024 has been crowned. On behalf of our country, Sine Shetty from Karnataka went to the top 8. Everyone thought that Sine Shetty would be the winner this time… But they were disappointed. She settled for top-8 position.
Reliance Chairman Mukesh Ambani’s wife Nita Ambani participated in this program as a guest. She was presented with the Miss World Humanitarian Award by the organizers of the event. After 28 years Miss World pageant was held in India. The last time Vishwa Sundari pageant was held in India was in 1996. Then Irena Sklieva from Greece became the winner. Then India went to top 5.
