It is well known that Udhayinidhi Stalin had faced criticism for his comments against Sanatana Dharma in the past. Referring to this matter, Pawan Kalyan expressed his anger on Uday Nidhi Stalin’s comments saying that some people like to talk about Sanatan Dharma, and some compare it to virus. Responding to Pawan Kalyan’s comments, Tamil Nadu Deputy CM Uday Nidhi Stalin responded by saying, “Wait and see.” On the other hand, DMK leaders have issued a series of statements that they are not against any religion. He said that they are against superstitions and frauds in the name of religion. Senior DMK leader TKS Ilangovan said that people who talk about Sanatana Dharma have been wiped out from Tamil Nadu.

What is Pawan?

He said that some are comparing Sanatana Dharma with a virus, which is not reasonable. Sanatana Dharma does not destroy other religions and dharma. Pawan Kalyan stated that if anyone tries to wipe out Sanatan Dharma, they themselves will be wiped out. Pawan Kalyan warned in a strong voice that he should stop criticizing Sanatana Dharma, no matter how hard anyone tries, he cannot destroy Sanatana Dharma, if he does so, he himself will be wiped out. Pawan Kalyan in Varahi’s declaration said that a special law should be brought to protect Sanatana Dharma and Sanatana Dharma Preservation Boards should be set up to implement the law. A strong law is needed to protect Sanatan Dharma and to prevent acts harmful to its beliefs, it has been demanded that this Act be brought forthwith. Pawan Kalyan asked the government to allocate funds to the Sanatana Dharma Preservation Board every year. Although he did not mention the name of the DMK party and the names of the party leaders in his speech, the party leaders responded to Pawan’s comments.

He said that those who talk about Sanatana Dharma were wiped out from Tamil Nadu in the general elections, DMK did a clean sweep. He said that BJP did not win a single seat. Ilangovan stated that they are talking about equal rights for all and demand that those who speak about humanity should bring a law that will allow them to be priests in temples of any caste.
