Also, hero Gopichand who is in flops is also waiting for a solid hit to stand in the race. Vishwam is the film made in the combo of both of them. Many people’s lives depend on the result of Vishwam movie. Director Srinu Vaitla, hero Gopichand, heroine Kavya Thapar and producer TG Vishwa Prasad need a solid hit. They all worked hard to survive these failures and made the film. Industry sources say that the pre-release business of Vishwam movie has done well due to good response to the already released teaser and trailer.

Vishwam Cinema has done theatrical business of Rs.4 crores in Nijam, Rs.1.5 crores in Seeded, Rs.4.5 crores in Andhra and Rs.10 crores in Telugu states. Karnataka, Rest of India plus overseas have done business of Rs.1.5 crores. That means worldwide Rs.11. 5 crore pre-release business, trade sources say. Based on this, if Rs 12.5 crore share and Rs 25 crore gross collections are received, Vishwam movie will break even.

This movie was made with a budget of Rs.50 crores along with promotional activities. It is jointly produced by Venu Donepudi, TG Vishwa Prasad, Vivek Kuchibotla and Kondal Jinnah under the banners of Chitralayam Studios and People Media Factory. Along with Gopichand, Kavya Thapar, Jishu Sengupta, Naresh, Prakash Raj, Sunil, Pragathi, Parthiban, Vennela Kishore, Srikanth Iyengar, Naginidu etc. played key roles in this. If we look at the opening day of the film Vishwam, which was made with a budget of around Rs.600 crores, worldwide, the film made Rs. 16 crores are estimated by trade sources. Trade pundits say that Rs.11 crores will be collected in Telugu states, Karnataka, Restof India, and another Rs.5 lakhs in overseas gross receipts. Devara, Vettaiyan, Janaka, Ganaka, Swag and other small films will be able to withstand the competition, it remains to be seen how the universe will stand.
