Mukesh Ambani led Reliance Industries market cap went down 18,18,262.08 crore from 18,52,735.51 crore the previous day.

Mukesh Ambani’s twin children, Akash and Isha Ambani, have their birthday today on October 23. Prior to their birthday Mukesh Ambani has received bad news. Reliance Industries’ stock price dropped by 1.86% ( 50.95), closing at 2687.30. This decline caused a market capitalization loss of 34,473.43 crore, bringing the company’s market cap down to 18,18,262.08 crore from 18,52,735.51 crore the previous day.

Reliance Industries Share Price Movement On 22nd Oct

At 22 Oct 16:02 today, Reliance Industries shares were trading at price 2687.3, -1.86% down from the previous closing price. Sensex was trading at 80220.72, down by -1.15%. The stock was hit a high of 2751.9 and a low of 2680.8 during the day.

 

On the technical front, the stock is trading below the short term simple moving averages of 5, 10, 20 day as well as longer term moving averages of 50, 100 & 300 days.

The classic pivot level analysis shows that on a daily time frame, the stock has key resistances at 2728.47, 2775.73, & 2799.47, whereas it has key support levels at 2657.47, 2633.73, & 2586.47.

Investors poorer by Rs 9.19 lakh Crore

Investors’ wealth eroded by a massive Rs 9.19 lakh crore on Tuesday as markets came under heavy sell-off with the BSE benchmark index Sensex falling 930.55 points.

 

Extending its previous day’s decline, the BSE Sensex plummeted 930.55 points or 1.15 per cent to settle at 80,220.72. During the day, it tanked 1,001.74 points or 1.23 per cent to 80,149.53.

The market capitalisation of BSE-listed firms eroded by Rs 9,19,374.52 crore to Rs 4,44,45,649.22 crore (USD 5.29 trillion).

 

From the 30 Sensex pack, Mahindra & Mahindra, State Bank of India, Power Grid, Tata Steel, IndusInd Bank, Tata Motors, Larsen & Toubro, NTPC, Bajaj Finance and Reliance were among the biggest laggards.

 

In contrast, ICICI Bank, Nestle and Infosys were the gainers from the pack.

 

Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) offloaded equities worth Rs 2,261.83 crore on Monday, according to exchange data.
